Karin Broberg, born 1973, Professor of Environmental Medicine, Karolinska Institutet and Lund University, Sweden. I investigate how our genome affects our susceptibility or tolerance to the environment. I have mainly studied susceptibility to metals, particularly arsenic, and my research has taken me to different parts of the world. I also study toxicity of metals, with a focus on genotoxicity and epigenetic changes
